SOCKBROKER.COM was
established in 2000 in Los Angeles,
California by two best friends who previously worked together for 12 years as brokers in
the hosiery and garment industry. We said to ourselves, we have the
experience in importing men's and women's hosiery, we are very familiar
with the best garment manufacturers in the world, and after wondering how it
is that our sock brands were being sold by Major Retailers for triple or
sometimes even 5 times the price bought, we immediately decided that it
would be a great
opportunity for us to introduce some of the finest quality socks directly to
the public at wholesale prices. We started with some very popular and hard to find
socks such as, Over The Calf, Big And Tall, and specialty medical socks such as,
Diabetic Socks. Due to the top quality of our products we soon found
our self's with a loyal following and began to expand our selections. Over the
years our website has mainly grown through the word of mouth and that explains
the lack of advertisements on our website.
